The 2018 Mustang pre-production vehicles are now being spotted on the regular and the more we see, the more we like. This particular vehicle — a Lightning Blue or Kona Blue 2018 Mustang EcoBoost with white stripes is one of our favorite combinations and does a great job of showing off the aggressive new front end, which Ford’s design manager, Melvin Betancourt recently said was inspired by none other than Darth Vader. “When we were designing the new 2018 Mustang, the team wanted to make the new model look more aggressive, and one place where we found inspiration was one of the most famous screenplay villains of all time. The angled nostrils and contours of Darth Vader’s mask became the inspiration for the Mustang’s new fog lamp scoops and front-end shape.” Whether or not they succeeded in translating the infamous Sith Lord’s helmet into the 2018 Mustang’s design, we believe   the sinister new face of the S550 is going to win over a lot of Mustang fans, new and old.

  Shelby American just introduced its 2017 Shelby Super Snake Wide Body , the company’s first concept in over a decade, with a road course focused package that includes new suspension and brake options designed to maximize the car’s extremely wide track. The wide body concept began with the popular 50th Anniversary Shelby Super Snake.
